Watch Young Bee Gees Cover Bob Dylan in 1963

We go back in time to bring you an interesting contrast in musical genres, with the Bee Gees giving Bob Dylan’s classic “Blowin’ in the Wind” its own spin.

It would be a chore to include all the musicians who have covered Dylan’s songs. Nonetheless, we will always remember a very special rendition of his anti-establishment hymn “Blowin’ in the Wind” that was performed only very rarely. In 1963, Bob Dylan had already established himself as a generational icon. His folk songs were increasingly being labeled as protest music, propelling him to the forefront of American radicalism and propelling him to not only become a musical icon but also to advocate for civil rights and social justice everywhere he could. That feeling would endear him to listeners everywhere.

The Gibb Brothers eventually become one of the most popular singing duos in history. The band’s catchy pop tunes were played at almost every 70s gathering. As their fame expanded, they were catapulted to the top of the charts and eventually became one of the best-selling musicians of all time, selling approximately 220 million albums throughout the world.

What makes this rendition so great is how uninhibitedly the three brothers do it. They seem like they’re having a blast singing their own version. You can check it out below.
