Olivia Newton-John’s Daughter Gives Tear-Jerking Life Update After Mom’s Death

Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi had an emotional moment on TV while speaking about her mother’s death.

The 37-year-old made an appearance on Australian morning show Sunrise to speak about the upcoming annual Walk for Wellness, which raises funds for cancer patients.

Lattanzi got candid about her struggle with grief, sharing that the Grease star’s fans were there for her during her “darkest moments.” The singer and actress began getting teary on camera and interrupted herself.

“I’m sorry, it’s still raw for me,” she said. Lattanzi added, “People I don’t know have lifted me up and I’ve been able to engage with people who are going through cancer, who have family members who are going through cancer, and offer my heart and my ear. That has actually been the greatest privilege for me, to give back in that way.”

Co-host Natalie Barr assured Lattanzi she didn’t have to worry about getting emotional on camera. The 55-year-old said, “A lot of people watching now will know that grief comes at you out of left field. It’s like a rollercoaster and it hits you when you least expect it, so please don’t be sorry.”

Barr also took time to ask Lattanzi about how her mother helped those suffering from cancer behind closed doors, which prompted Newton-John’s daughter to reveal how the late actress went above and beyond for others.

“She would take time to call cancer patients and write emails to people she barely knew to check in on them,” recalled Lattanzi. “Even when she was at the hardest part of the battle, she was still making it about others.”
