Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor was recently tasked with providing his choice for what song would serve as the best introduction to the storied catalog of the 9. While certain fan favorites have worn out their welcome with Taylor over the years, the outspoken musician still wound up selecting the band’s biggest track to date.
As part of a fan Q&A conducted by Revolver, Taylor landed upon the GRAMMY-nominated 2004 single, “Duality“. That song has chalked up the group’s highest streaming numbers (“Psychosocial” and “Before I Forget” comprise the top 3), and appeared on the band’s third studio album, the platinum-certified “Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)“.
Taylor said of it:
“Oh God, that’s a great question. I’d probably do “Duality,” just because it’s such a great amalgam of everything that Slipknot does, and it’s still to this day one of the biggest songs we have.”
